Dr. Gabriella Scaduto is a psychologist – psychotherapist, specialized in Hypnotic Psychotherapy, EMDR Practitioner, registered with no. 16643 of the Register of Psychologists of Lombardy (section A).
Freelance professional, her work is expressed both in the clinical field (consultancy, diagnosis, psychological support and psychotherapy) and in the forensic field (partial consultancy in separation/divorce/custody cases, and in cases for the evaluation of biological damage of the type psychic);
It was part of the GOIP (Permanent Interdepartmental Operational Group between the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Medicine of the ASST Lariana – Sant'Anna Hospital in Como Medicine Unit – Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Service) on an experimental project called ASH- (Active Subject of Healing) “because the patient is a person” – which involved the use of neo-Ericksonian hypnosis with gastroenterological pathologies on a functional basis.

He obtained a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, Health and Discomfort specialization at the University of Palermo, and in 2006 a Master's Degree with honors in Criminal and Investigative Psychology at the University of Turin.
Subsequently she won the Master of Talents, the scholarship reserved for the best Italian graduates and financed by the CRT Foundation, which allowed her to work at UNICEF – Bolivia in the protection of children's and adolescents' rights sector, specifically in the project development of the Unit for Attention to Victims and Witnesses of Sexual Violence and Trafficking in Human Beings (UAVT) of the State Attorney General's Office, in collaboration with the National Coordination against Trafficking and Child Trafficking, Sexual Violence and Gender Violence.
“This experience allowed me to become a UNICEF consultant and, combined with the psychological profession, has progressively translated into technical and professional competence in the more general field of Human Rights and Health”.
Since 2015 he began to collaborate continuously with OPL - Order of Psychologists of Lombardy, through various roles and delegations:
Contact person for Human Rights, Childhood and Adolescence of the Order of Psychologists of Lombardy, specifically:
- Coordinator of the Project – “Psychology for the Rights of Children and Adolescents” in collaboration with Unicef, Save the Children, AIAF – Italian Association of Family Lawyers “Milena Pini”, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and CISMAI Italian Coordination of the Services against Child Maltreatment and Abuse;
- Representative in the sub-commission MSNA - Unaccompanied foreign minors of the Advisory Commission of the Office of the Guarantor for Children and Adolescents of the Lombardy Region;
- Delegate to the Mental Health Table of the Lombardy Region;
- Delegate to the Integrated Observatory of the Lombardy Social and Health Service.
Since 2015, CNOP has been a member of the "Emerging areas of psychology" Working Group of the National Council of the Order of Psychologists.
Since 2016, member of the Scientific Committee of the States General of Women, selected by the Board of Directors of the States General among personalities from the world of humanistic, scientific and economic cultures.
Currently speaker and teacher at many national and international conferences and seminars on the promotion and protection of the rights of children and adolescents and human rights, with particular reference to protection systems and special protection actions/policies (abuse, mistreatment and sexual violence).
